OBS 29.1 crashes on settings both Fedora 37 and 38 Wayland and X11

Hello, I had done some newbie, basic testing with OBS a couple months ago and it was working normally. Tonight when I tried to do some more testing OBS crashes anytime I try to click the settings button or also from the File menu settings. This system has been running Fedora 37 for several months. I have another system that I just upgraded from Fedora 37 to 38 on that has OBS installed on it. The same thing is happening on that system. Both systems are running OBS 29.1. One is an AMD 5900x with a 3060ti, the other an Intel 9900k with a 1650 in it. I have also tried switch from Wayland to X11 on both systems, but OBS crashes in all conditions.

I'm new to troubleshooting OBS issues, could anyone please help me progress through finding out why the application is crashing when trying to access the settings? I did briefly click the start recording button and it did seem to record okay. Also, I uninstalled OBS and reinstalled it on the main AMD system, but the issue continues. I uninstalled it through the Fedora software center so that might not have been a thorough removal.

I will attach a couple log files.

Thanks for any help.

I have a similar problem too.

My OBS crashes with Fedora 38 (AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS and RTX 4060).

When launching from terminal and clicking the settings button:
Code:
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::logic_error'
what(): basic_string: construction from null is not valid
[1] 45303 IOT instruction (core dumped) obs

Wow it works now! I've been applying some of the usual Fedora updates for various packages the last week or so. I noticed yesterday's update included some ffmpeg packages. Today I just happened to give it another try and it's working. Clicking the settings button IS NOT crashing the application now...
