OBS 29.0.2 Audio issues with new Computer

Hi all,
We just purchased an Asus Zephyr G14 (2022) to be able to stream our church services to Youtube. Today was my first day using the new computer and after setting everything up and starting stream, I found that we are experiencing crackling in the audio output. It seems that it is OBS that is the issue. I have attached the log to see if anyone notices anything that may be the culprit. Thank you in advance!

Quick look at the log, noticed other things (Disable HAGS, Set Color Range to Partial) but no sample rate mismatches. But, it does appear you have installed the old NDI plugin 4.10.0? It was recently updated 4.11.0 & now is compatible with NDI 5. I believe the NDI audio issues have been fixed with the new version.

AMD GPU drivers seem to be FUBAR at the moment. Who knows when they will be fixed? Just throwing it out there as the PC is brand new...

It's not an AMD issue this time around.

It appears that you are maxing the audio buffer (960 milliseconds) causing it to reset the buffer, and hence stutter/crackle.
07:28:19.215: Source Desktop Audio audio is lagging (over by 185560.69 ms) at max audio buffering. Restarting source audio.
Whatever "Front MEVO" and "Back MEVO" is, those are the culprits.
How to fix this is beyond my knowledge however, but I do hope this guides you in the right direction.

No it's not. I'm just making the OP aware of the issues surrounding AMD GPU's. As you are aware, he more than likely won't be able to use the encoder without skipped frames or worse.

That depends. For this sort of content (a few cameras and some audio channels) this shouldn't by any mean max out the GPU, so lagged/skipped frames should not be an issue.

It also does seem like they have the option to use QSV instead if anything should go wrong. At least according to the log.

No QSV, it's an AMD CPU.

Anyway, iGPU on AMD is also not working correctly. Already been down that road a week ago...

Most iGPU's on AMD's side doesn't have encoders, save for the last 1 or 2 generations.

Either OBS is bugged or the log is. Ah well.
