I have 2 computers. One Windows and One Mac. The Mac is running an older version of OBS (27), and windows is running 29.0.2.
The internal IP address of the windows 192.168.0.6 the firewall is turned off.
The internal IP address of the mac 192.168.0.4 the firewall is turned off.
Both are on the same internal wifi network.
I setup larix with. srt://192.168.0.6:22223?mode=caller
I setup a scene on windows with a Media Source with the input set as srt://192.168.0.6:22223?mode=listener
All flags are unchecked and Reconnect Delay is at 1s (the minimal allowed).
Try to broadcast, and Larix complaining that it can't connect to the server. If I reopen the properties, I notice "Input Format" is "mpegts". I remove it and save, and reopen the properties and it is still there. So nothing changes.
However, I setup larix with. srt://192.168.0.4:22223?mode=caller

It works just fine. There is no "Input Format" it is blank. I know this use to be the case on older versions on windows as well. Is this the problem I am seeing trying to get SRT to work on the newer version of OBS? Help?
