OBS 28 Screen Layout Issues

I haven't included a log file because my issue starts before that point. Under OBS 27 everything looked and worked as it should, however after loading 28 the main display is weirdly truncated. In Studio mode, the video windows are only one-quarter size and shifted up into the left-hand corner. See the image attached.

I'm currently using an LG monitor running at 3840x2160, the Windows recommendation for screen resolution is 150% and I get the truncated screen shown above in OBS. If I set the monitor resolution to 2560x1440 the Windows recommendation for screen resolution is 100% the display is correct. OBS used to display OK in 27 but now does not in 28. Obviously changing the settings is a "solution" until it is resolved.

Any updates on this? I'm having the same issues with my LG 4k monitor, since updating from pre-28 to OBS 28.1.2

It's a bit of a pain, but simple to resolve. I go to the "Nvidia Control Panel" and set the PC screen resolution to 1920 x 1080 and it resolves the issue. I only have one screen so I don't know if you can set multiple resolutions on different screens.

Solves the problem for me. I too have found is that the display resolution doesn't matter, the Scaling does matter. Scale must be 100% for OBS to display properly.

I have two monitors one 4k the other 1920x1080, each one must be at 100% for OBS to display properly. Of course with my 4k set to 100% things are a bit too small for me. I have changed it to 1920x1080 just to get the text larger.
