OBS 28 freezing when I add audio sources

Just Downloaded OBS 28. Building my Scenes and i added my Mic and my FPS dropped to less than 1 CPU usage is less than 5%. On Mac. Thanks in advance for the help!

i can click the visibility button on the mic source layer and its fine. i re enable it and it freezes

it seems to only be an issue when my mic is set to monitor and output. any ideas?
