Mentioned this in another thread, but felt it was serious enough to warrant its own post. For me, OBS and ZOOM fail to sync audio in Windows 11. Problem seemed to increase after update to OBS 28, but I have never been able to connect OBS with Zoom successfully using VB cables as many describe in YouTube videos.
I have a setup that works in Windows 10, but when I export it to my computer with Windows 11, the two programs cannot communicate. This is particularly evident with screensharing in Zoom. I had been able to get aspects of this system to work intermittently in OBS 26, but after installing 28, even reverting back to 26 failed. Something in my system seemed to change permanently after the update.
This process appeared to be complicated by updates to Windows 11 during the process. Spent over a month getting headaches trying to resolve this issue, Contacted Dell support to see if the issue was system related, and performed an arsenal of tests. But each program works fine on its own. It is only when tying to network them to stream Zoom in OBS that they fail. If anyone has been able to do this in Windows 11, I would like to know how. If this is a bug, please resolve it in your next update. Thank you.
