OBS 27.2 Monterey, No audio output capture options

From loads of reading and Youtubing, I believe in OBS (though this seems to be misunderstood a lot), Audio Input Capture is audio recorded (for your stream/video) and Audio Output Capture is audio to monitor. You CAN Monitor the Input Capture (can get this to work) BUT the latency makes this useless for live streaming whilst also needing to listen. So I've followed tutorials to set up Audio Output Capture, but on mine there are no output devices, not even my headphones into the jack. Nada. I've tried Audio Midi set ups on Mac, tried changing all the settings combinations. My input is from a small interface (Alesis), Mic to device, device to USB, through which I can also plug in headphones and hear in real time (no latency), but none of the audio filter effects reach it because it, again making it useless for live audio. Basically, I need to turn slight reverb on and off and be able to hear it when its on. Seems such a basic concept, there must be a fix!

On another note, in case it's of any use, I've used Protoverb (Has a VST2 version) which WORKS with OS Monterey & this newest OBS release, to replace TAL-Reverb, which doesn't work now with the lack of VST3 support for OBS.
