Hello there,
I read the post about high CPU problem, I did every thing before I saw the post by searching online. I only using 30f , yes I do have 1080 even lowering it did not help.
Since I downloaded the new version of OBS 26.1.1 everything change in my computer and the use OBS. please help
my CPU jump to over 85 when I record or enable the virtual cam or both.
I can't bring zoom into OBS as it used to be, meaning: i use to have 2 options via window capture or display capture, current only window capture is working.
In windows capture now you have different windows to choose from zoom meeting, zoom exe and have more settings, until I was able finally to get to the actual zoom screen each time you go between your scene and go back to zoom scene I get black window, sometime white.
all the settings changed I used to have H.264 now I don't.
so much dropping frames uncontrol.
I really like to use OBS, I used to bring OBS into zoom and zoom into OBS run all my scene with no issues, recording, virtual cam everything, CPU was always under 20% and no dropping frames. what happened.

Did you turn on Studio Mode (dual screen rendering)? or change/add a source? and add an effect/filter (audio or video)? etc
there are lots of options within OBS that can drive up CPU utilization
and then there is whatever is going on within the Operating System itself (background processes, etc)

I actually, run multiple cams, I had a filter only for green screen, I do bring zoom into OBS and use the virtual cam for zoom users can see what I'm doing though the cams
