I am currently doing a complete rewrite of the program. the issues the current build has seem to show up worse on mac, so while its been tested, its definitely not ready for production use.

I need this bad too. The concept is pretty straightforward and the idea that I could use the same controller to trigger both Resolume Arena and OBS on the same computer is pretty awesome. QWERTY hotkeys are a drag since they will only work on the application in the foreground. So it's useless for VJ'ing and scene switching on a live stream at the same time on two apps. MIDI would solve the problem if I provisioned my controller in both applications, but mapped different duties to the controls. I'm dead in the water until it's working - any idea how soon you'll have it ready for prime time? You seem to be nearly there . . .
If it helps at all, I can only get one thing mapped before the config menu freezes. It typically reads controller # 666 in the controller number window when it locks up. I can usually successfully leave that menu, but the controller will only work once at most before OBS crashes. It seems to save the setting, but if I restart the app, at best I will get one successful button push before it stops working again. And it always eventually crashes OBS if I attempt to map any MIDI. I have had no luck getting a fader to work at all. I have successfully mapped one and left the config menu, but no effect on the faders when I test it. I am on a brand new MacBook Pro running 10.15.6. Resolume Arena is working like a champ with my Akai MDP26 MIDI controller, so I can safely rule out any incompatibilities on that end. But you are already aware there are bugs in this. Any updates would be appreciated. I can honestly say, this would be the single coolest addition to OBS so far if you can make it work for us Mac guys. Now we just need a decent PTZ controller that supports ONVIF cams!
I am happy to test if you need me.
THANKS!!

yeah i'm using a AKAI APC40 but i think it's got too many buttons, too bulky for the program to work with so i'm trying to get like a really cheap 9pad joint on ebay to try it out.... but i switched to a powered USB hub and that improved performance 10x.

Until the MAC version is legitimized i might have to just run this off my PC for now? But to be honest i still haven't gotten that to work 100% either
