Question / Help OBS 21.1.2 AMD Encoder not working

Hi guys, first time post, normally I can figure things out pretty well by reading forums but I couldn't find anything exactly like this so here goes. I'm trying to use the AMD AMF encoder in OBS to see if that will improve the quality, but if I select that encoder instead of just plain x264, I get the error "Starting the Output Failed" then it says "Note, if you are using the NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date."

My system is old now, i5 2500k, and I'm using a Sapphire Radeon 7970, I installed the most up to date drivers I possibly could, rebooted my system, tried again, still nothing.

Any input or help would be much appreciated! Here is the most recent log file:

For future reference, instead of pasting your log contents directly in your post, please post your log as an attachment to the post (using the "Attach files" button below), or upload the log using OBS' built-in log upload feature, or manually upload it to a text hosting service (e.g., Pastebin, Hastebin).

While the HD 7970 does support AMF with VCE 1.0, the maximum resolution it can encode is 1920x1920. Your setting of 3440x1440 is beyond that, so you must reduce your output resolution to something between 64x64 and 1920x1920. See the AMD AMF Encoder Plugin wiki entry on VCE 1.0 devices and their capabilities.
