Question / Help Obs 18.0.1 (64bit,Windows) Keeps crashing

I'm having problems with my obs crashing it was working completely fine the other day until I updated it now every time I go to stream it crashes and when it doesn't crash it has problems detecting my face cam and my elgato... I've uninstalled and reinstalled and it's still not working reset my pc still not working any help would be great

Where's the crash log?

Press WinKey+R or go to Start > Search and type %APPDATA%\obs-studio\crashes. The contents can be copied to https://gist.github.com/ and then linked here.

No, it's a normal log. Normal logs and crash logs are stored separately, read my directions and try again.

That crash indicates it's your Elgato that's crashing. Make sure your drivers are up to date.

thank you i will try that, that would make the whole obs crash?

its says my drivers are up to date and my elgato software is working fine just when i open OBS it Crashes and doesn't even pick up my face cam or my elgato heres the new crash log

Try reinstalling then. The crash is definitely from the Elgato, so there's not a whole lot we can do. You can also try contacting Elgato for assistance as it is their drivers that are crashing.

well thanks for the help disconnected the elgato and uninstalled the software and it still crashed but thanks for your time
