Question / Help OBS 17.0 Sound Issues

Hello,

Ever since updating to 17.0 with OBS Studio I've been having this problem where my console audio displays in the mixer like normal, but during my live streams, there is no audio. I've triple checked if it was an audio track issue, wiring issue, settings and etc. But I can't come up with any answer. Sometimes after exiting studio mode it would randomly start to work but that wasn't a 100% fix.

I didn't have a game audio issue before updating and nothing in my stream has changed either. Nothing physical or settings wise.

Did desktop audio bar in OBS show movement?

Is '2 - ZOWIE RL LCD (AMD High Definition Audio Device)' your default sound device in Windows?

Yeah, that is my default playback sound device.

I see movement in the Elgato (HD60 Pro) mixer. Desktop Audio doesn't move.

I found a guide saying I should move the "Audio Output Mode" to Output desktop audio (WaveOut) from Capture audio Only. That made the sound come out of desktop audio now.

I normally had it on capture audio only instead. Is the audio suppose to set like that?

I believe you Configure it in obs studio: Elgato game capture device and for
Audio Ouput Mode: Output Desktop (WaveOut)

Thats All I can think of.
