Bug Report OBS 17.0- OBS Crashes when Game Toggles Fullscreen/Windowed Mode

I just upgraded to OBS 17.0 recently, and it seems a few problems have come up with it:

1. When I use Game Capture or any other capture mode while playing Non-Borderless Window games or old games that change the resolution when loading certain scenes, OBS locks up the EXACT moment the game changes the resolution.

2. Also as of late, ALL my full screen game capture sources have stopped working properly for some unknown reason, and most only are detected and work when the games are run in a windowed mode. Starting ANY game in full screen or borderless window mode causes OBS to freeze as well.

3. When OBS "freezes" the recording continues as normal, most off the preview ui still shows that recording is functioning properly like the volume bars still lighting up to match the sounds input, but the stream preview is completely frozen and attempting to stop the recording or closing obs manually causes the entire program to stop responding entirely.

4. I made a recording where I purposefully causes a game to change from windowed to fullscreen while recording and it seems that opening the "corrupted" .mp4 recording with media player plays the video as normal UNTIL the moment I went to fullscreen. At this point the recording stops playing and RESTARTS. Note the sound has NEVER played for me in WMP for some reason since I changed to 4 then 6 channel sound capture, but works fine in my video editing software.

5. When opening the same recording with Adobe Premire Pro CC (2017), the video appears mostly as a solid green box which sometimes flickers red (A minor problem I've had with OBS 16 recordings in the past) for the ENTIRE video, and the recording STILL the moment I went to fullscreen.

6. OBS never truly "crashes" to give me a crash log, so I don't have a crash log to upload unfortunately, so I've uploaded the last log from the crashed recording test I did.

7. Using "Window Capture" for any of these games results in a pure white screen, BUT OBS doesn't crash UNTILL the screen resolution changes.

8. Any new windowed game captures I create FAIL to record any footage.

If anyone has any guess as to what might fix this or a way to revert my obs install to a previous working OBS 16 version without losing too many setting options/sources please suggest them below, as I really wanted to start recording today till I realized this problem.

Also for those wondering recording the monitor and other video recording devices like my webcam and video capture card works fine.

I will upload a video from my phone showing of what happens onscreen during all this to my YouTube channel if you need further explanation.

Thank you for your time in reading this,
Jason M.

Update #1: Well I managed to find my old OBS 16.6 log to compare to the 17.0 ones and it seems that when ever a fullscreen game or application is hooked an "Failed to create keepalive window class: 1410" error occurs every time.

I did manage to get OBS to capture 1 game this time around (Railroad Tycoon 3) in full screen by disabling my "Full Game Capture" source this time, but for some reason when it switched to fullscreen recording the entire preview and recording flipped 180 degrees horizontally. This game is about 14 years old now and a DX9 game, so I'm surprised it's the only working one atm as I tried to capture a few more modern games and they caused OBS to freeze again regardless of windowed or fullscreen mode.

Also it seems that OBS takes around 3 - 5 seconds to rehook some of my games, when it was virtually instant back in 16.6
