It has been a while since I've used OBS and today I was doing some testing with it and I noticed that using game capture not only was it capturing games not set to be captured. I always use the specific .exe selection for capturing games and yet OBS was capturing a game that wasn't set to be captured. The other issue I ran into with this was that OBS was also capturing my steam overlay with Game Capture, which effectively makes recording longer videos impossible without shutting down steam. Is this a conscious change and I would like to know if there is a way to turn off steam overlay from showing up with game capture now?
I had set my OBS to capture XCom: Enemy Within and the game I was playing was Killing Floor 2. While both games do use different versions of Unreal Engine, I do believe they run a vastly different version and the executable names are nowhere near the same. But like mentioned earlier if I stream or record I really don't want my steam overlay to show in the capture.
