Question / Help OBS 0.14.1 Won't record mic sound, game sound or any audio

I am using the free OBS 0.14.1 version on a high-end gaming desktop windows 10 64bit O.S and I want to record gaming videos for youtube.

When I first started I was using a Logitech c920 1080p webcam with built-in mic. I didn't know how to use OBS properly but I got the game to show in video, both mic and game audio was working too. The quality was bad on everything and I gave it a rest till I could get a charger for my wireless headset.

Second video making attempt, I went into settings to change my mic to a nemesis wireless headset and tinker with the video settings for a better quality Webcam capture of myself and of the game. I got the webcam and in-game video capture up to 1080p but now no matter what I do, my videos have no audio at all, no mic or game sounds. OBS seems to pics up my mic and game audio in the audio mixer, but when I watch to video after recording I hear nothing. The video is fine but now I hear nothing and I have been doing tests for a few days and watching videos online to fix the problem but I got nothing.

Please help

Ok now I can hear my voice through mic just fine (thanks btw) but now both in vlc and other media players such as windows media player, I have no game sound or visual. I will screenshot my obs settings if that would help? I don't know what is wrong I don't think I changed anything from last record but now I can't see the gameplay. Can I have help with audio settings? I don't know what I am doing.

Before I got it to record my game video aswell as webcam by turning include steam overlay etc. on but now I can't find it, and even when I did that I got no audio. I don't think its a software problem I just don't know how to set it up. Before with just webcam for mic I got it set up but it was poor quality but now I am using better mic I don't know how to set it all up again. I mean yeah the fact I can only get mic audio and only mic audio through vlc is weird but the rest I think is just the fact idk what I am doing.

OBS Studio is able to record 4 audio tracks simultaneously. Most video players only support 1 audio track playback. If you import the video to Adobe Premiere (or other preferred editor) I bet you will have two audio tracks in there. If you're not planning on editing your video I greatly suggest you go to "settings" and "output" and make sure both mic/aux and desktop is set to track 1.

Sorry for the anger but this program is annoying me to hell and i'm not doing anything wrong. I can't afford adobe premiere right now. Can someone please help me to get the settings right. Like what settings do i do to get it to pick up my gameplay? And for desktop audio device should i select my monitor or default? For mic/auxillary do i select my headset or leave it default which is my headset? Apparently i need to set the audio frequency for my headset but i don't know how to find out how many hurtz it operates at and how to get obs to use same frequency?

ETC. stuff like that i need help woth please.
