Me too. Insane CPU usage. Sits at 80% CPU usage while previewing the output. It claims to be using 15% in the CPU monitor at the bottom of the window, which is similar to CPU usage in 12.X. It instantly pegs the CPU if I start a recording. It claims to be using 50% in the CPU field at the bottom of the window. This is about double what 12.X used during a recording. The remainder of the CPU usage beyond the 50% reported by OBS seems to be something called cef-bootstrap.exe.

LOVE the new transition feature and studio mode, but it's just unusable at these levels of CPU consumption

It only displays the cpu used by the obs process, not your entire cpu usage. And cef-bootstrap.exe is from the browser source, so you must have something in that source that's pretty heavy on the CPU.

I am also having problems. I just updated the version to the new release. I can get my game capture and video capture going but when it comes to my overlay browser input it totally freezes obs studio and showing it as Not responding. I can't get a log since it is not responding.
