Hi i am having issues with OBS “forgetting” my sources and edits to sources. Could you please help?
I have been having this issue since i started using OBS last month, but finally monitored it closely over the past couple days to troubleshoot the issue. There are 2 things that are not working as expected:
1. I have two Logitech Brio cameras set up in 2 different locations around my studio. They are 2 difference sources (video capture devices) in 2 different scenes. I set them both properly yesterday. Today, one is working fine- just as i set it yesterday. The other camera showed no feed in its scene. When i clicked on the video source, it said Logitech Brio #2 and was greyed and crossed out. It gave me the option to switch to Brio #3, which i tried and is now working fine again as Brio #3. This is tedious to do every time though. Why is it happening and how can i make it just remember the camera without having to change the video source?
2. I have another webcam, a Logitech 922 that i use for an overhead piano angle. The piano is relatively thin and i want it in a certain position on the screen. Yesterday, I created the camera capture source for this device and flipped it, cropped it, resized it, and repositioned it. Today, OBS remembered the camera source device, but it “forgot” the flipping, resizing, cropping and repositioning- it just took up the whole screen instead. Why is it happening and how can i make it just remember the flipping, resizing, cropping and repositioning?
