O Deus ASIO Link Pro versus VB-Cable or VAC?

Simple question, actually. To what extent is O Deus ASIO Link Pro able to replace either VB Cable or VAC to route audio out of OBS to ... well ... just about anything. In particular, I'm thinking any of the many telecon software I'm using. Basically the question is to what extent is this a replacement for the other two?

Between the Focusrite 18i8, SPDIF loopback, and ASIO, I can get pretty much anything I want into OBS - whether from outside or internal to the PC - and it's mixer does a nice job. Getting from OBS to anything else is a well known headache.

I know I can use either of the other two products, of course, and get basic routing. However, I'm looking at what O Deus lets me do for other non-streaming studio work and it just looks a sweet, if intimidating, package. Basically, it looks like a full fledged patchbay stack and that will be useful to me with my studio gear and the multitude of IO and routings I've been wanting to do. Not too worried about the intimidating part because it looks too much like setting up routings on a digital mixer or some of my diagrams for analog routing.

I just replaced my VoiceMeteer Banana setup with ODeus ASIO Link Pro. My biggest selling point was 32 channels of network audio with adjustable latency. I am using it to transfer multi-channel audio from my DAW to the PC connected to the digital mixer, and I have to say, it's way faster and reliable than VoiceMeteer. Would love a network client only (without the virtual devices) version/setup option, but hey...

Granted, best results come with native ASIO drivers, but ASIO4ALL is there to help out if built-in sound card is used.

I do NOT see any missing feature yet (other than running it without virtual devices installed).

Hi there. Did you end up trying it out?
I have a Behringer ADA8200 (master) and Scarlett 18i20 2nd Gen (slave) and it has worked tremendously. I researched VAC a good bit before deciding against it, ASIO Link Pro (ALP) is free, just looks nicer and has a lot more on the interface. They can both do what most people need but ALP has saveable configs, no noticeable added latency and like STEPHANVS said - networking possibilities.
The installation process is not difficult, it just requires you to be attentive (search on Youtube).
I was expecting to have to uninstall my existing ASIO drivers and configure a lot of sound settings but nope. You just need to enable ALP I/O channels in the Windows Audio Settings (disable any unnecessary) and then manually change the channels as needs be through the sound icon in the notification tray. You can bypass ALP altogether and just go through the 18i20 or any other I/Os you keep active as I've demonstrated in the attached. I've been using it for over a year and it has not caused any issues.
