NVIDIA T500 - Encoding

Hi all, i have a new laptop running Windows 11 with an NVIDIA T500 mobile graphics chip. I have the latest version of OBS Studio installed but it wont let me record and gives the following error:
NVENC Error: init _session: nv.nvENCOpenEncodeSessionEx(&params,&enc->session) failed (NV_ENC_ERR_NO_ENCODE_DEVICE)

Looking at some info it seems to mean that the GPU on the laptop dosent support encoding, resulting in the error.
Is there an available list of compatible GPU's that work with OBS Studio, if this is the problem?

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

it appears that your gpu does not support nvenc, change your encoder settings to Software x.264.
