Question / Help Nvidia Shadowplay Settings In OBS???

Since getting my GTX 1070 card i have been using Nvidia's Shadowplay to capture game footage, it seems to produce really good quality video (at the medium setting preset) BUT it is playing havoc with Adobe when trying to edit and render the file, as Shadowplay uses variable framerate and not constant framerate to capture its footage and as a result it cause audio sync issues with adobe, so im going to start using OBS again.

Does anyone know what settings i need to set in OBS to mimic the settings that Shadowplay uses?, as ive said im able to play Doom (2016) @ 1440p and 60fps and use shadowplay at those same settings and not be hit by performance issues, so i would like to achieve the same result with OBS, thanks.

OBS cannot completely compete with Shadowplay as Nvidia can pretty much do everything on the gpu without having to even touch the cpu. OBS on the other hand will always use a bit of cpu as well.
For the settings you have the options to use one of our included presets with nvenc in the simple output mode, or you could switch to advanced and enter the settings to your liking:

Example settings that should give good results are included in the guide.

Yes, the settings should fit to pretty much every resolution/fps combination. The encoder can decide on the necessary bitrate.
OBS is limited to Stereo as most services use it too.

Regarding the encoding 'Level' for 1440p and 60fps i was under the impression 5.1 and above should be used, if i leave the 'level' setting to auto will this automatically pick 5.1?
