Hey,
I have a Nvidia Geforce 940MX driver on my laptop. I went to the obs settings and under the output mode I select advanced and under the encoder I want to use the Nvida Nvenc encoder but it's not available. The only encoders I see are x264 and QuickSync h.360 but no option for nvenc encoder. How can I use the nvenc encoder?
Also, I want to set up obs to record videos, where I want to record my camera in the corner and record my screen. I need to be able to record in 1080p so when I upload to YouTube the 1080p HD option is available.
Please can someone recommend a video or some guide that shows how to set up obs for recording???
Please help,
Thanks.
PS: I watched a tutorial on YouTube that showed how to record in 1080p with obs in that video the guy tells you to use the nvenc encoder (I don't have that available and then it tells you to put the bitrate to 8,000 kbps but after I did that, my cpu usage went too high and could not record).
Please show me how to set up obs for recording step-by-step.
Thanks,
Usman.
