Question / Help nvidia nvenc codec not in list

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and I would like an answer from an expert on the field concerning the codecs of obs.
I will list the features of my PC to get started:

Intel i3 3217u 1.8Ghz
4Gb ram
Nvidia geforce Gt740m + Intel HD 4000
Hard disk 700mb

in practice, with any recording program I can select the "Nvidia Nvenc" codec but with the new version of obs studio no.
Why if in the previous version it gave me this codec now no more?

I was informed about the video card and it is completely compatible with the coded "NVENC" so I would not like to read answers like "your video card is not supported" because they are all bullshit (sorry for the language but it is 1 week that I hit my head with this problem). however using the "NVENC" coded with an old version of obs studio and with any other program, I have no problems of any kind. does anyone know how to solve?

Since the Nvidia chip in your card doesn't contain nvenc, despite from what you were informed about, it's not possible that you ever recorded with it on this machine. Other apps may have silently fallen back to x264 encoding, or you mistake nvenc for Quicksync. The latter is supported by your CPU. If you need a hardware encoder for OBS with your machine, use Quicksync.

The issue with other apps may also be that your Nvidia driver will always pretend that nvenc is available. But if you try to actually use it and try to start some encoding, you will get an error.
