Hello Everyone!
I am doing some research on the different options I have for streaming.
Gaming PC:
Intel i7 4790K
NVidia GTX 970
Recently saw a buddy of mine stream with NVENC two pass at 3500kbps and the stream looks identical to a x264 stream.
I am just wanting to know your guys' input on this. I know streaming and gaming on the same PC using x264 often will leave people sitting at close to 100% usage depending on the cpu preset. But given that twitch has increased their bitrate cap to 6000kbps and the potential to free up CPU for other things while keeping a good looking stream seems interesting to me.
Has anyone tested both and come up with anything similar or different?
Thanks!
