Hello,
when i use NVENC to record to my HDD raid 0, that i created with the mainboard controller with Intel Rapid Storage, i get "Skipped frames due to encoding lag".
Most of the time it's only about 0,1 to 0,3% of encoding lag for the entire recording, but it is freezing the image (Above 60fps skipped frames in one lag).
The freezing is only in the recorded video and not ingame.
The strange thing is, that when i try to record on another HDD or use my SSD (Or only the replay buffer that is using the ram), i don't get any encoding lag. So something is wrong with the raid or the hdd's, but i don't know what.
I tried different games (CPU bound, GPU bund) with the same result.
For recording i use new NVENC, but i don't think its an encoder problem:
Strange thing is, that when i try to use FFMPEG UTVideo lossless 4:2:0 i don't get any encoding lag on the same raid and the bitrate or output is much higher (About 100megabytes/sec).
... At the moment i create some backups of important files and after that i'll try to delete the raid.
EDIT: After deleting the raid, its seems to working fine.

- Format: MP4 (Already tried MKV)
- Rate Control: CQP
- CQ Level: 16 (tried 12 and 20)
- Keyframe Interval: 0
- Preset: Max Performance
- Profile: main (tried high)
- Look-ahead: off
- Psycho Visual Tuning: off
- GPU: 0
- Max B-Frames: 0
- chkdsk /f /r on the raid
- Check S.M.A.R.T values with CrystaldiskInfo: Good Result
- Defragment with O%O Defrag and with defraggler
- Benchmarked the performance: I get about 330 Megabytes/sec
- Tried different "Write-caching policy". Best results i get with "Enable write caching on the device" and "Turn off Windows write-cache buffer flushing on the device" enabled.
