Question / Help NVENC PRESET

hello ,
i wanna ask about NVENC preset
when i use NVENC preset ,it shown low latency -HQ and etc
but i see on advanced option ,for Low latency option too ,is it double low latency? hehe(sorry ,im new)

my question is , how if i use NVDefault (which is best preset on nvenc) and check low latency box on advanced option
its still low latency or not?

Same option (but you can adjust it on your wish). Low latency is not the best option for quality. It disables b-frames encoding and several algorithms that require high CPU time to process. The quality degradation noticeable at low bitrates. The overall delay far less then 1 second. Make sure that you really need this option. Usually, it needed for video-phone calls - where you speak, then delay (0.5sec for example) then your opponent answer (speaking back to you) but there is again small delay (0.5sec for example).

So, for the casual streaming it is not required at all. Only if you need real-time feedback.
