Question / Help NVENC HEVC 8k?

Is the full H265 encoder for Nvenc implemented?
I'm trying to do some testing at 8k (my Nvenc card supports it), but anytime I try to record (MOV, MKV, MP4) at 8k w/ nvenc_hevc or hevc_nvenc - I just get:

---------------------------

8K works in ProRes, but not Nvenc. Just wanted to know if I'm missing anything or if anyone else has tried this and found results yet?

Advance output uses ffmpeg for encoding, it might not have support for the latest NVENC technology yet.

I don't even think NVENC supports 8k? Last I recall, the max was 4096x4096

8192x8192 is now supported, depending on which GPU architecture is being used.
And here lists my Quadro as supporting the 8k H265 https://developer.nvidia.com/video-encode-decode-gpu-support-matrix

Ah, curious! This would likely need an FFmpeg update within OBS, and Jim is currently working direct with nvidia for these updates, so it might have to wait until next release before it gets updated there. I can let you know here or via twitter if that changes, though.

Can confirm on my end, as well. Was working in normal 23 afaik but not in 23.1.0
