I have this issue where my NVENC H.264 doesn't work. The reason (obs claims) is because I haven't updated my drivers.
I updated them before downloading OBS (because they were released). Then got obs and configured the settings to find this happening. I re-installed the new drivers from their site and it still didn't work.
Some information I found: There was this video saying about ram and how certain programs (e.g. Premiere) reserve memory for usage. But I don't have premiere and don't think skype is that hungry for ram.
Here is the exact message and then the log:
"Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details."
"Note: If you are using NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date."
(I already updated my drivers)
