"Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details."
"Note: If you are using NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date."

I feel like i've tried everything from reinstalling the drivers, making sure I have enough memory, looking through all my settings in OBS and reading through past posts and checking if I have something off, updating every single one of my drivers via device manager, reinstalling OBS, updating windows, using a system restore point, and disabling all windows settings that could possibly conflict with OBS. Anyone know a fix?

Nvidia GTX 1080
I5 6420P (Fels bad)

256 GB SSD (OBS located here)

Edit: Found out what's causing it. Whenever I run the "OVR Service Executable" for my Oculus Rift S, it messes up my NVENC encoder, making it so I can't record with any software (Shadowplay, OBS, Fraps).
