Hi,
I've been using Obs for a couple of weeks, it's worked brilliantly and had almost no trouble with learning how to use it or recording gameplay with it. Good job guys.
However I've been playing around with NVENC for recording, less lag, quality similar, seems like the best choice when it comes to recording for me.
But I've hit an issue, which seems too... specific to be random.
Every single file I record which hits a size of 4,192,000 KB (give or take 10,000 KB) ends recording regardless of if I've finished or not. I've got plenty of room on my drive (easily another 300gigs spare) but I have 5 files now, 3 done while general recording and 2 tests, where my recording will end after the file size hits just over 4.2gigs.
This means I lose sections of video which is frustrating but I don't mind working around the issue. Is this just an inbuilt thing that I can do nothing about or is this something to do with my set up? I've searched for people hitting similar problems and not come up with anything but I might be using the wrong terminology.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
