Now Playing Song Info From VLC Video Source > Directory?

Hi,

My first time trying OBS and I like it!

I added a VLC Video Source then selected to play from a directory of mp3 files.
Is it possible to get the now playing song info to display doing it this way?
In other words, I'm not actually playing the files from an external player.

Most of the tuts I've found explain how it displays the now playing song info from various players,
But I don;t see how to do it if you're just selecting a VLC Video source > Directory of files.

^^^^^yes please. i would also like to join in on this request fest for an ability to display as much of “now playing” track info as i wanted, such as artist title album for music, or title and release year for movies. extra points for the ability to also display the remaining timecode or rotating in the info “up next” track/ video if possible.
