Question / Help Nothing happens when pressing 'start recording'

please help...after setting up obs, I clicked start recording and nothing happened! please help me fix this issue

What encoder did you set for your recording settings?

I set it to NVENC H.264

Set it to x264. Your computer doesn't actaully support nvenc.

when I use x264 the recording lags sooo hard

you don't have a choice in the matter, your computer does not support nvenc.

Your CPU should support QuickSync, though.

Have you tried that?
