I posted about this but it may have been at a bad time so i'll try again.

here's my last log: https://gist.github.com/068a33ace041c3a9622c023d8835e334

While in game, my gameplay is clear and perfect. Then when I playback my recording, it's like a slideshow with one still frame skipping every 5 seconds or so while the audio is on time..

I'm trying to do a local recording while playing Overwatch. I have a brand new GTX 970 graphics card and an 8-core processor.. I'm not sure why I'd be having issues unless my settings are completely screwed.

I've read tons of tutorials to have the best recording settings and nothing has worked so far.

While in game, my gameplay is clear and perfect. Then when I playback my recording, it's like a slideshow with one still frame skipping every 5 seconds or so while the audio is on time..

At one point I changed some setting and then my video was on time but there was a LARGE drop in pixels. (not sure what i even did tbh).

Someone please help me. It doesnt matter how many times I google it, I get the same results.

@thedutchess you are recording 1080p@60 with 3000 bitrate. it must look bad. check my awesome calc for suggested bitrates, read included reddit article, and set keyframe interval to 2.
for local recordin with nvenc you may go for 15k=low, 25k=medium, 50k=high bitrate/quality. these are default shadowplay settings

@DMCross your apu may be too low for x264. try using amd vce encoder if you have that option
