Question / Help Not the best of qualities :/

Hello,

I'm a small streamer on twitch !
I'm coming to ask you for help with my live broadcasts on Twitch.tv

Before, this is my specs :

CPU : i7 4790k
GPU : GTX 760
RAM : 16GB
Type of game on stream : FPS

OBS specs :

Bitrate : 2200 kbps
CPU Profile : x264 - Main

and here is my internet connection ->

Good upload speed for stream ??

Now my question: When you watch my video, the image is not clear while I am in 720p30FPS. Why?
There are pixels on the broadcast and it's annoying for the viewers

The difference between the image quality of your stream output and the other stream you linked is multiple:

He runs a higher bitrate, around 5.5k while you use 2.2k. He outputs a resolution of 720p60fps, you output at 720p30fps.

You could try High profile instead of Main, that will also help a bit in quality (Though very slight) This in turn may make it difficult for viewers with smart phones, etc. to watch your stream.

You could also try a slower preset of x264, this will also increase your quality though will heavily increase the load on your CPU.

You should have no trouble at all with any bitrate you set in regards to your internet bandwidth.

To really troubleshoot any issues (Your stream looks fine, just bandwidth constrained) you need to upload a logfile after you stream (Need at least a few minutes of game play, doing everything normally)

- Enable vsync
- Set your FPS in OBS to 30 or 60
- Set your bitrate to 6000
- Set your x264 preset back to veryfast

A GTX 760 isn't exactly the most powerful GPU so you may need to make adjustments to in-game settings to prevent it from getting maxed out.

- 60 FPS is too much for my CPU, it's lagging
- Bitrate 6000 OK but viewers with an average connection will be able to see the broadcast ?
- Veryfast OK

In that log your GPU and your CPU both got maxed out. GPU lower quality in game CPU switch to ultrafast.

You'll probably struggle as Sapiens hinted your rig may not be up to Gaming and Streaming

- Resolution : 720p30
- CPU preset : Faster
- Profil : Main

In game FPS : 60-90 FPS no lagging
