Question / Help Not picking up desktop audio

OBS will not pick up any of the audio from my computer while my headset is plugged in. The only way to get audio to play through obs is to set my speakers to default but if I do that I cannot hear game sounds or music through my headset. I have this problem with both desktop audio and audio output capture when it is set to default, headset, or speakers while my headset is set to default device..

In obs audio tab make sure that you select the right desktop audio device that you can hear sound from. Then go into the audio mixer and make sure the volume is high enough and the right track is selected.

If you continue to get the problem make sure you are running OBS 64bit instead of 32bit and match the sample rate and format (either 2 channel, 16bit 48000khz or 2 channel, 16bit, 44100khz)
