Question / Help Not picking up audio sources

This seems to be an issue for me only with the recent update. When I go into Settings and set audio for game sound to whatever I'm using, the audio seems to work. However, if I don't go in and select it every time I record, I get no audio. Log: https://gist.github.com/56ca4b15b87ddc38fa10

I mainly use the player in Windows 10. Sometimes VLC or Quicktime.

Does anything stand out in the log? It seems I need to select the audio sources every time to get it to work. I have mixer set to put microphone on one track and in-game audio in another.

In this log your 2i2 was successfully initialised for audio in and audio out, no problems there as far as I can tell.

I'm not sure what's up, Adrian. Makes no sense that sometimes it works, others it doesn't. I'll check levels again in devices, but I don't think that's the issue.

Let me just confirm what your actual problem is. When you start OBS Studio and go into Settings, Audio do you see your 2i2 configured as Desktop Audio and Mic/Aux?

Yes. Both are selected. However, even though they are selected, if I exit out of OBS Studio, and restart it - the audio doesn't hook. Still they are selected though.

Only one of those three are known to have good media format support, and that's VLC.

Aghh. Yeah it was the player. VLC it is going forward!
