Question / Help Not getting any video or audio with HD PVR 60

I decided I need to upgrade my capture card and got the Hauppauge HD PVR 60 to replace my old Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition. The sad thing about this OBS Studio sees the capture card but does not put any video or audio from it. When I go into video capture devices it pops up as HD PVR 60 Capture Filter (HD). It would be nice if I could get some help with this or If this is a known issue it would be nice to know what can be done about it.

After looking at all the logs I posted trying to figure this out myself it would seem that this version of HD PVR may not be supported by OBS Studio yet. I found, DShow: HDevice::ConnectPins: failed to connect pins (0x80070491): There was no match for the specified key in the index., in the logs. Sadly I may have to downgrade my capture card back to my old one until this is taken care of. I wish I knew enough about this stuff to try and fix it myself.

Just for your reference there is a list of supported cards, which as you say the HD PVR 60 is not on yet :-(

One thing you could try is changing the settings in you HD PVR 60, right click the device in your scenes list and choose Properties, choose Configure Video and see if a dialog pops up. It looks from your log that it's trying to initialise a very low resolution which the HD PVR 60 may not support. If nothing comes up at this point I would guess it's not going to work.

Well that does suck. I wish I knew enough about programming and coding to get it to work myself. Oh well. I hope it can be resolved within the next few months, won't hold my breath though for it probably can take some time depending on who in this community can obtain one and then get it to work.

I guess you couldn't see any video properties? I am using a new Elgato which is not on the list but it still works because the drivers are architecturally similar to the old cards and so OBS picks it up fine.

Yea the window didn't pop up when I clicked the video properties thing. Sadly I'll have to wait for this one to be supported more than the name popping up.
