When I unplug my headset (Razer Kraken 7.1) it detects my desktop audio just fine.
But when it's plugged in, it only detects my mic and no other audio. I tried switching the device it uses but no matter what I put, when the headset is in, it won't hear anything. I hear sounds, it's just that OBS won't pick it up. But if it's any other headphones or I just unplug it all together, the audio is picked up fine.
