Question / Help Not detecting any video device

I am new to streaming. I am learning as I go since I started doing the live streaming for my church. We have a camcorder connected via svideo to a Diamond VC500MAC capture device and running to our Mac desktop. Previously we have used Flash Media Live Encoder which worked okay but had few features. I recently found OBS and decided to try it out. What I have ran into is that OBS is not detecting any video capture device. I see where it is picking up the line-in audio just fine, but no video. I searched through the forums thinking this may be a common newbie issue and an easy fix, but found nothing. Any ideas?

You can attempt to open it natively and use Syphon to capture it. But otherwise OBS would need the drivers for such an obscure piece of hardware.
