Recording GTAV and the video stutters either every couple seconds or every 6 seconds. It's enough to annoy me but prolly not much to annoy others., I just want decent stable gameplay footage.
Specs: r7 3700x, rtx3070, 32gb ram, b450 mobo
Latest recording was on simple settings, high quality med file size. mp4. NVENC encoder.
Things I tried:
Updated windows to most current (20H2)
Run as administrator
Hide preview
All 3 monitors to 120fps, then 60 fps(main is 1440p and the 2 other are 1080p if that's an issue)
Tried different quality recording settings from different threads and youtube videos. CQP with different numbers and VBR with diff numbers.
Change priority to higher in task manager.
Videos record to hdd without game or obs on it.
Record to an SSD.
Used simple output mode and run the auto config wizard.
Game capped at 60fps.
Game Mode On.
I have been trying random settings and don't remember anything I did to put here but if it worked I wouldn't be typing this.
