Not all images playing from a directory in slideshow

Anyone have a clue as to why only the first 7 images in my directory play in a slideshow ?
Total folder is only 21MB in size with 18 images, but only the first 7 are playing!

The size limits on the slideshow source is not based on the file's size on disk but instead its uncompressed size, with 1920x1080 images being over 6.2mbyte EACH (6220800 bytes), regardless of the size on disk.

What image file type would overcome this do you think Harold ?

It doesn't matter what image file type the files are, the limitation is because of how the images have to be stored to use them as a slideshow.
If you want more slides, lower the resolution of your images.
