Bug Report Norton Internet Security 2014 detecs OBS MP DLL Files

Hi,

NIS 2014 is detecting DLL Files and deleting (WS.Reputation.1)

For example 32Bit Folder avcodec-56.dll and so on.


Can you have a look on this for the next Release ?

You have something turned on in norton causing the false positive.

Norton is also notorious for having among the highest false positive rates among antivirus programs.

I know OBS MP everything is 100% ok, but Norton is reporting (and sadly deleting automatically).

Norton can be very VERY over protective. Perhaps you could turn off Norton and then download OBS MP, see if that works?

That's an FFmpeg DLL. I compiled it straight from the FFmpeg repository with no modification. It's definitely a false-positive.
