Question / Help Non partnered streamers twitch, FPS cap?

Hey

Is it true that Twitch caps the FPS to 30 for non partnered streamers or does changing the FPS settings actually changes to FPS to twitch videos also?

I have not seen twitch bottling the fps to 30 fps for non streamers (if you are, am one too), i HAVE streamed at 60 fps at some point accidentally, and twitch never bottlenecked it. streams at 60 fps used to buffer like hell for me when i watched them, now they don't (different browser i think).

Haven't seen it limit to 30fps, it does limit the bandwidth to 3.5mb or 3500 bitrate for non partner though. To get a 60fps, 720p steam say for FPS requires some high birate for it to not pixel / buffer.

There is no cap on fps for twitch for non partnered streamers. I use 60 and it works fine
