Non-capturing of Mouse-Right-Click's dialog box when recording video

I am recording a video where I want to illustrate how to create a folder in Windows 10.

The one method that I wish to demonstrate is by right-clicking the mouse and selecting the option via the dialogue boxes.

However, the dialogue boxes (as indicated in the attached JPG) do not appear on the recording.

I have tried using “Window capture”, “Display capture” and “Game Capture” sources without any luck.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thank you
.

You need display capture to be able to capture secondary windows in addition to the main app window. Window capture will only capture the main window and nothing else - no menus, no popup dialogs.
If you tried and failed with display capture, you made some error. Display capture is always showing every pixel of the corresponding display, including all menus and additional dialog windows.

not sure if any error was made, but a configuration change to the Display Properties fixed my experience of the same problem Tony@ZA had ... instead of Automatic (default) Capture Method, I changed to Windows 10 (1903 and up) and voila! All actions, secondary windows are captured. Screenshot of "fix" attached.
