Noise gate no longer working.

I stopped using obs for streaming for quite a bit. I came back to try to do it for some clips and my noise gate no longer works. I have tried changing the Open and Close Threshold all the way to 4db. All it will do is cancel out any audio until I make my voice loud enough by raising it (Not raising any software/hardware). Then it automatically just adjusts for some odd reason. I have tried using new installs of both OBS and windows and the same issue is happening on a complete new install. I tested it before installing anything else on to see if it was an issue with my Voicemeeter and Cable output but it seems to be happening with or without those. This really sucks because its choosing to pick up anything in front of the microphone whether im right in front of it or laying down on my bed across the room. (Which sucks when my nephews are running aroudn the house) I have also tried it on my second computer and it seems to be having the same issue. Both computers use a Behringer U-Phoria Um2 for phantom power. I have not had any issues with this prior. My mic is a Audio Technica AT 2020 XLR. My second pc is using a random $50 mic from amazon which is also XLR.

It happens as I try to talk into the mic. The only two items I use in the filter are the Noise Suppression and Noise Gate. Noise Suppression seems to be working normally. I've tried using it through Voicemeeter Banana and it seems that the noise gate seems to be working through that.
