Question / Help Noise Being Recorded

When ever I record a game (lets use Skyrim as an example) I have decently loud humming sound in the background of the recording that isn't heard when recording. Just wondering if anyone can help.

I would say it is picking up the sound of you PC, the humming sound would be airflow/fans spinning. Do you have microphone recording set to automatically record and not via hotkey?

You could try to reduce the noise interference by adding a noise suppression filter to either your microphone /desktop audio properties:

No my microphone isn't enabled. I dont own anything to record my voice with.

hmm, I could not discern any background interference to be honest, at least not from that clip. Can you try another recording, this time just desktop so there is no in-game sounds/music, etc.
