Question / Help No Virtual Cam Option // OBS > Skype (Mac OS Catalina)

Hi All,

I've used OBS a few times in preperation for what I'd like to use it for: a simple switcher to swap from PnP to full screen Video sources for use in Skype, but I've hit a roadblock. I cannot seem to get Virtual Camera (in Tools from what I'm reading / viewing on tutorials) to appear.

Apologies if this has been covered in other threads, I did a search and there seemed to be some people talking about it in Catalina and I thikn I understand that the new version of OBS (v25) might be an issue? I'm pretty clueless if I'm honest so figured that I should start a thread rather than trying to backwards engineer a solution from more in-depth discussions or hijack a thread.

Followed the tutorial, the custom version of OBS launches (via the script the launcher script in terminal) but when clicking on the context menu at the top (File, Edit, View, Profile, Scene Collection, Tools, Help) I couldn't click anything to respond.

After I opened another window of another application and went back to OBS I could now click the context menu - I can now Start Virtual Camera. Great! Only it does not show up in any other application. Skype, Zoom, Google Hangouts. Nothing :(
