We used to have the black magic ultra studio and it works great. But we are now trying to commission another spare unit and used the old Matrox MXO2 Max that we have.

it'll only work if Matrox opened the MAC API for OBS to use it.

so let's say ElGato for example, the Windows API works as a direct source, but does NOT work in Mac OSX.

I also have the Matrox VS4 capture card. Until now I had used it with Wirecast since, as you know, it is prepared for this integration. Now, however, I need to use OBS Studio as well, and I have come across the problem that, although the program recognizes the inputs, when you add them as a video source, the signal from the cameras does not get in. Still in black. Looking for a solution to this problem, I came across this post of yours from 5 years ago, and I was wondering if you could finally use it. I would greatly appreciate if you could tell me something about it. Thank you.
