Question / Help No System Audio

I have 2 scenes in my obs, a live stream scene and a lets play scene. They both have display capture as the video source, but the desktop audio doesn't record. I also tried with a game capture to try it, but it doesn't work either. I need help right now because I'm falling behind with my YouTube videos.

Display and game capture are only video. You have to either specify the desktop audio source in Settings > Audio or add an audio source to your scene.

Don't know what to tell you. Game and display capture don't capture audio. You need to have an audio source set separately, either in Settings > Audio or as a separate source. Possibly you have or had your default audio device set in the Audio settings pane, and now something else (like a Windows update) has changed that stopped audio from working.
