No Sound While Using AverMedia LiveGamer Portable 2 Plus in OBS

Please help. A bit of a newbie but I do understand some of what is going on. I have the LGP2 and am using OBS to stream. The input seems to be working because I can see the meter moving for sound but nothing comes out of headphones or on the stream. Its hooked up correctly with direct HDMI from LGP2 to monitor and Xbox out to LGP2 in. The LGP2 is set to PC mode. I have an input source in OBS and as I said it seems to be working as the meter is moving and hearing the game. Weirdly I did try yesterday I did a window capture and streamed the EA Madden 24 stream on my stream and you could heard sound with no issue but the game doesnt provide sound. Im at a loss.

Sorry found out the sound from the stream wasnt coming out of the output so there is still no sound from output
