No sound recording, when using my DAW

I'm trying to capture the audio, when using my DAW (Reason), for the purpose of production videos, but, I don't get anything. It has something to do with me using the ASIO Komplete Audio 6 setting in my Reason preferences, as, when I change it to some of the other settings, I then get signal, but, those setting have latency issues. Is there any way to bypass this? Any help is appreciated.

OS: Windows 11
Sound Card: Komplete Audio 6
DAW: Reason

Windoze audio is stupid. That's the entire reason that ASIO exists, to bypass the whole mess and talk directly between app and hardware. Neither Mac nor Linux needs that.

If a Windoze-standard loopback is too slow, then I don't know what to tell you, except to try a different loopback, a different computer, and/or a different OS. Windoze audio works for some people, but as you've found, it doesn't for everyone.

Then some of stick with Windows for other reasons, and simply have to put up with nature of Windows OS audio sub-system... sigh..

What some DAWs have started to do is enable Windows Audio sub-system audio output from DAW (in Presonus, I believe it is called "Listen Bus")

Another common recommendation from years ago was to yuse Reaper's restream VST plugin. A number of related links I captured years ago, in case any of this helps you
